Hello and welcome to my site.
 
 My name is Danielle Dufayet.
 
  Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to imagine one of my paintings displayed in someone's home filling the room with what I hope to express through my art: love of color and life to uplift the spirit.
I am a California artist who has worked in one media or another all my life, including glass, fused and stained, acrylic and now, oils. I studied under world renown French artist, Suzanne Sable who happens to also be my wonderful mother. My training includes community classes and private instruction. I am a member of the Los Gatos Art Association.
Inspired by intense color and nature's beauty, I have developed a series of oil paintings entilted "Sunsets and Silhouettes". These landscapes and seascapes express my fascination with light and dark contrasts and the magic of twilight.
